Silicone Hand

In a team of two, we came up with the idea to create a 3D-printed hand that could easily be attached to a robot or artificial arm to assist the robot or person in picking up or holding onto objects.

 

We later to added silicone mold to our hand to assist with holding on to objects as well as providing a skin-like texture when touched. 

 

I designed and modeled the hand in Creo 3.0.
